Tourist trails

I started the day with a run along the beach- gorgeous day and heaps of people out enjoying themselves.

Beeakfast- France meets Aus, Vegemite and french butter on a fresh baguette- not much is better in this life!

Our first job this morning was to upsize Amy's suitcase- mostly as mine is 'slightly' heavy and our next plane flight is with Easyjet- I've watched too much TV with screaming English clients and overweight bags at EJ counters to risk that!

After lunch at home (sushi for the ladies and baguettes for the lads) we packed up for the beach. Oops- we found it had started howling a gale and while still sunny it was quite dumpy and not looking all that fun. Non probleme! A tourist train awaited that the kids found a bit boring... Until we reached the top of the hill with a birds eye view of Nice.

We walked back for our afternoon lager and frites, passing the gate to the Beau Rivage private beach, where they've recycled old chairs into an arch over their door.

Baz thought I should have a pint shot today too- especially after we received a couple of fishbowls. And NO Amy does not have a straw in my beer- Don't get us a DCS reception party at Perth!!!!

We are enjoying a bit of couch time as we had a rough sleep last night in new surrounds, then we'll have a pasta meal before an early night. We are right in the thick of if here with restaurants lining every street so it's easy to find something yum. Night night!
