We passed many wind farms and also a nuclear power plant. Added to the sub glacial hydro electrics and it's been a few days with some good science lessons!
Traffic was halted on the motorway by a car on fire in the opposite side. The French abandoned their crazy driving for a change and all slowed with their hazard lights flashing to warn of the danger. A nice contrast to the thrill ride that has been French motorways.
We found our new home easily enough, and again were warmly welcomed by the hosts Christian and Marie with a well equipped house and a bottle of cold wine. Tres bien!
We dropped our gear then went to deliver our rental car back to the depot, it's back to public transport for us. Baz is pleased especially with all the one way streets here. We had a wander through the old city of Avignon just across the river and stopped for lunch. Sorry Andy I missed the beer shot again- it was a biggie!
After a lazy evening in the lovely garden at home, including some long needed homework we set off through the windy streets of the village to find dinner.
Off home now, but no wifi there so I'm madly tapping out this message as I know if Norma doesn't hear from us she'll think something is wrong! Night night
