Noice Nice

We enjoyed our last sunset over Avignon before a walk up the kids favorite rocky pathway and a yummy dinner in the village square last night.

This was our last train trip and an easy journey, with glimpses of the sea and some towns along the way. We arrived in Nice and found our way by tram to our new digs to drop our gear and get the first proper look at the beach.

It's completely rocky so we'll be heading down with beach mats for a lie down tomorrow, but Miss A had to get in and give the water a try of course. I dipped my toes in and it was quite lovely so I plan a swim soon!

On our walk back through the streets, we weaves through lots of narrow laneways passing many tiny restaurants and shops. We stopped for our regular arvo beer and frites while Jack continued his Orangina tour of France.

Our dinner was at a Thai/Chinese restaurant (identity crisis) on the waterfront- Baz and I are both craving spicy food as its not something we've found the French do at all. Bedtime now, Bon Nuit!
